Sending Emails... on paper?

Well, this is an interesting service. Based on the concept that important emails are frequently caught in spam blockers, never to be received, a UK company has created a service that lets you use the Web to send actual paper letters. You write the letter into a web based form and send - they print it, apply postage, mail it and send you an email copy for confirmation.

Frankly, I'm not sure this is viable but maybe I'm wrong. I'm curious to hear other SOHO's thoughts - would you use something like this? Let's hear your comments (below)

Creative Dreaming

This past month, someone I've known and admired for a long time hired me to design a new logo for her business. She paid me up front - and gave me a mother lode of information about her business to use for conceptualizing the logo.

I thought I understood. But six or more logo concepts later, nothing I did felt right to her. I was a little panicked - after, the money was spent! And regardless of that, I guarantee happiness - even if takes me to the cleaners and back to make it happen. Plus, this had never happened to me before so, of course, I felt a little crazy - usually, I either nail it really fast or have at least one option in the ball park.

I wasn't sure what to do, so I asked her for patience. I needed time to percolate. And then, three days later, I had a dream, with an idea for her logo. Unlike most dreams, it stayed with me - clear in my mind - and I drew it in Illustrator the next day.

Her response? "YES! I like it." And we're on our way.

Has this ever happened to you?

My new "mousing" wrist rest

Meet Oscar, the newest edition to my home office. Perhaps the most ergonomical and comfortable wrist rest I've ever had! The vibrating effect is wonderful too!
