HomeBizWear.com gets press

Yay! The Albany Business Journal called me within hours of my press release going out and interviewed me. I'm having a lot of fun with the whole thing, and just posted some packaged services for companies that want to take advantage of Cafe Press for their own businesses, on the site. Considering the thousands of ideas that hatch in my head, which I never find time to run with, I'm glad this one is picking up steam.

So many things to do, so little time (and the weather is gorgeous!)

My smartest business move

Quite possibly the SMARTEST thing I ever did for my business and cashflow was start accepting credit cards from my clients. After much research, I selected Practice Pay Solutions for this service about a year ago. Practice Pay Solutions delivers personalized, convenient, and reasonably priced credit card, electronic check, and e-commerce/ shopping cart solutions.

What fascinates me about this company is that I'm often treated like their ONLY client - I'm that important - and yet, I know they have many, because they are endorsed by a number of very large professional associations. Their integrity and dedication in delivering these business services to independent professionals and entrepreneurs is outstanding and I've never regretted my choice for a moment!

Hey - I should mention that even if you are already hooked up with merchant services, PPS is running a special until May 15, 2005, where the set up fee is waived if you switch!

Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer.

Fresh content for Increase Your Reach

As a general rule, I haven't ever published other authors in Increase Your Reach but in the spirit of the new blog, I want to open to the idea. For those who were not keen on this idea when I surveyed you last month, you have my promise: the subject matter will always be marketing and/or technology for small businesses - and I'll share only the articles that are of the same caliber and style you're used to. Plus, with the new blog summaries you'll get once each month, you can always skip the articles that do not interest you.

Moving right along...
